RIVA Solutions supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under the Health Insurance Oversight System (HIOS), a mission-critical platform within the Center for Consumer Information & Insurance Oversight (CCIIO). HIOS is the authoritative system that collects, validates, and manages health insurance plan data from issuers nationwide. It ensures compliance with Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulations, supports marketplace oversight, facilitates plan certification workflows, and enables transparency in health coverage options available to millions of Americans. RIVA plays a key role in strengthening CMS’s oversight capabilities by delivering secure, cloud-based infrastructure, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and application modernization services that enhance data integrity, system performance, and operational efficiency across the federal health insurance ecosystem. RIVA Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our CMS HIOS modernization program. This is a junior-to-mid-level role that will help build, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes while supporting a secure and compliant DevSecOps environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, technically driven, and comfortable working in Agile delivery teams. This role contributes directly to improving CMS’s ability to oversee health plan data and maintain high-availability systems critical to federal health operations.
