Position Overview We are looking for an experienced contract DevOps Engineer to join our platform engineering team. This senior-level contract role demands a multi-cloud expert with profound Kubernetes knowledge to architect, implement, and optimize complex infrastructure across diverse cloud environments. The ideal candidate will drive our multi-cloud strategy, ensuring seamless container orchestration and deployment workflows.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
6+ years of hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms.
5+ years of production Kubernetes experience across different environments.
4+ years of experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members.
3+ years of multi-cloud architecture and implementation experience.
AWS: EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda.
Azure: AKS, Virtual Machines, Resource Manager, Azure DevOps.
Google Cloud Platform: GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Build, IAM.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: OKE, Compute, Networking, Resource Manager.
DigitalOcean: DOKS, Droplets, Load Balancers, Spaces.
Kubernetes: Deep expertise in cluster management, networking, storage, security.
Container Technologies: Docker, containerd, CRI-O, container registries.
Helm: Chart development, templating, repository management.
Service Mesh: Istio, Linkerd, Consul Connect.
Kubernetes Tools: kubectl, kustomize, operators, admission controllers.
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (multi-cloud), Pulumi, cloud-native IaC tools.
CI/CD Platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Cloud Build.
GitOps: ArgoCD, Flux, Tekton.
Programming/Scripting: Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, YAML/JSON.
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, cloud-native monitoring solutions.
