DevOps Cloud Engineer - W2 Basis
About The Position
This role is for a DevOps Cloud Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and automated deployments. Key duties include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. The engineer will also monitor system performance to ensure high availability and collaborate closely with development and QA teams to facilitate smooth software releases. This is a long-term position, offered on a W2 basis, and requires onsite work in Atlanta, GA, Harrisburg, PA, or Dallas, TX.
Requirements
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Hands-on with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef)
- Understanding of security and best practices in cloud environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Certifications in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
