Requirements

Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done.
Understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow.
Can simplify complex processes; gets more out of fewer resources.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED or 1 year of consecutive work.
One to four years of manufacturing experience preferred
One year of injection molding machine experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform/audit first/last article checks
Monitor all auxiliary equipment for proper operation and grinding runners where applicable.
Weigh and label each bag, box, or tote utilizing the utility computer.
Ensure all labels are correct according to the work order information.
Prepare parts for shipment to the warehouse by properly labeling each box and stacking on the appropriate pallets.
Preform dimensional and visual quality checks.
Document quality checks and corrective actions on the Molding Inspection Record.
Prepare all paperwork for upcoming changes.
Responsible for proper handling and documentation of rejected product on the injection molding machines.
Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
As requested, assist other team members in cross-training and conduct on the job training of other associates.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, updating PVD boards, etc.
Continuously improve through the KAS program, meeting department goals for completed KAS.
Align with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous Waste regulations.
Follow all local BD quality, housekeeping and safety policies, procedures and practices.
