About the Role: The Development Technician supports engineering teams in building, testing, and refining prototypes and new production processes. This hands-on role provides critical feedback to engineers and ensures hardware is built to spec during development phases. This is an exciting role in a fast-paced startup environment with a team dedicated to bringing enrichment back to US soil.
Requirements
- 4+ years in technician or development support role.
- Skilled with mechanical/electrical assembly tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace/automotive prototype build experience.
- Familiarity with test instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen principles.
- Cross-functional assembly experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble prototype hardware and test setups.
- Provide feedback on design manufacturability.
- Maintain lab/shop equipment.
- Support root cause investigations.
