About The Position

This role supports the development, testing, documentation, and lifecycle maintenance of Inductotherm’s power electronics and control technology. The role involves hands-on work with power electronics testing including PCB development, testing, and troubleshooting. Individuals with higher education and experience will take on increased technical ownership, design responsibility, and leadership within T&D projects.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology or related field.
  • 2+ years of electronics testing, PCB assembly, manufacturing support, or related development work.
  • Use test equipment including voltmeters and oscilloscopes for PCB testing and troubleshooting.
  • Support PCB release packages including Gerbers, BOMs, and documentation.
  • Order prototype PCBs and coordinate with vendors and purchasing.
  • Provide global technical support related to PCB manufacturing, BOMs, obsolescence, and manufacturability.
  • Support Quality and Testing teams with PCB-related issues, test fixtures, test procedures, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist field service and sister companies with validation and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain T&D lab equipment and manage procurement of tools and instruments.
  • Maintain a safe & clean working environment at all times.
  • Communicate effectively and follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE.
  • Able to traverse the floor of a plant in an industrial setting with various types of heavy machinery and overhead hoists in operation.
  • Must be able to travel as required, on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Inductotherm Corp. hiring process requirements which includes a comprehensive assessment, drug testing, and a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • FPGA or CPLD development experience.
  • C, C++, or C# programming experience.
  • Experience with Git or version control systems.
  • PCB layout experience (Altium, OrCAD).
  • AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience.

Responsibilities
