This role will be primarily on‑site during the initial store opening, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule once the location is established. As NFM’s Development Specialist you will grow the high potentials and future leaders for NFM through tailored programs for different groups of key/high potential employees. Assist in building the network of internal and external coaches and mentors. You will also engage high potentials in mentoring relationships. Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that’s what we love.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, college coursework in business, related area or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years Human Resources, training and/or development experience
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experience with internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation of development plans for high potential, high achiever, and the talent watch population at NFM
  • Facilitate training programs, including, but not limited to, new hire orientation, new hire training, sales training, safety training, software training, warehouse training, skills development programs, policy-specific training, etc
  • Implement activities and or training designed to meet organizational needs
  • Consult and assist high potential staff with executing development plans
  • Cooperates with the HR Business Partners and top managers
