Development Office r At Care Dimensions, philanthropy is about connection, compassion, and community. We’re seeking a Development Officer to build meaningful relationships, inspire generosity, and grow sustainable philanthropic support for our mission of exceptional hospice, palliative and primary care. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused fundraiser who enjoys managing diverse donor programs, energizing events, and creating thoughtful stewardship experiences that deepen engagement and impact.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development
  • Demonstrated success managing events, appeals, and donor programs
  • Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with donor databases and CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key fundraising programs including employee giving, memorial and tribute giving, appeals, and monthly giving
  • Lead donor recruitment, coaching, and stewardship for our Walk for Hospice and other signature or partnership events
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, funeral homes, and community partners
  • Manage and steward a portfolio of donors giving $1,000–$9,999 annually, with a focus on retention and upgrades
  • Design and implement a comprehensive monthly giving strategy, from acquisition through long-term stewardship
  • Partner closely with Philanthropy Operations to ensure smooth execution, accurate reporting, and excellent donor experiences
