Development Manager

Rose City RollersPortland, OR
$60,000 - $72,000Hybrid

About The Position

About the Role Rose City Rollers is the largest roller derby league in the world, serving more than 420 skaters and hosting 60+ bouts each year. Our mission is to serve women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals who want to play the team sport of roller derby, connect with an inclusive community, and realize their power both on skates and off. Because we host so many events and have a large, passionate fan base, we have built a strong and creative sponsorship program that is central to our fundraising strategy. We’re looking for someone excited to help grow that program while also exploring ways to turn fans into deeper supporters and donors. We do maintain some traditional development work—grants we already have relationships with, a year-end appeal, sustaining donors, and supporting team and program fundraising, but we aim to be thoughtful about where effort produces the greatest return. This role is ideal for someone who understands nonprofit fundraising fundamentals, enjoys building partnerships, and is energized by exploring new ways to grow support within a vibrant sports community.
