About The Position

Repsol is seeking an engineering student to intern with the Development Engineering Team during the summer of 2026. Repsol is one of the top companies in the oil and gas industry. We are present across the entire value chain: exploration and production, transformation, development, and marketing of energy that is efficient, sustainable, and competitive for millions of people. Repsol is committed to our internship program and helping students enhance their academic studies with real-world, hands-on projects. As an intern, you’ll work on real projects that deliver tangible benefits and measurable results. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about and help to solve some of the most important issues we face. You will experience genuine teamwork, and work alongside highly qualified and experienced colleagues, while you work on live projects and operations. At the end of your internship, you will present your summer project to our staff. Repsol’s student employment program offers the following advantages. Mentoring by experienced professionals in your field. Increasing levels of challenge and responsibility as skill and industry knowledge grow. The opportunity to gain hands-on experience and apply your academic knowledge. Exposure to different technical groups across the company. Technical and software training. About the Role The Development Engineering Intern will support our Facilities and Process Engineering teams in the design, optimization, and execution of surface facilities and infrastructure supporting upstream oil and gas development. This role offers hands‑on exposure to project engineering, process modeling, facility design, production optimization, and field development planning. Interns will work alongside experienced Development Engineers on real projects involving cost estimation, process simulations, equipment sizing, data analysis, and project execution for oil, gas, and water handling systems.
