This position is for current students of an accredited Engineering program. This internship experience will support the design and validation of various low-pressure and high-pressure gasoline engine components. The student will also support other departments in the plant (production, quality, etc) when development related tasks arise. Examples of tasks include: Tear-downs of field return/development tested components to expose internal failure locations in order to analyze surface conditions. Documentation of tear-down investigations (presentations and/or reports) and presenting results Coordinating and conducting design related testing Data analysis, interpretation and presentation of testing results Creating scripts in order to automate repetitive tasks.
