About The Position

The Development Data Analyst (DDA) supports the Archdiocese of Seattle’s Development Department by overseeing gift entry systems, donor database integrity, major gift reporting, portfolio analytics, and donor information management. This role serves as a key partner to the Chief Development Officer, major gift officers, annual giving leadership, and development operations by ensuring accurate data, timely acknowledgments, and actionable fundraising insights. The Development Data Analyst (DDA) is responsible for managing critical workflows for daily gift processing, donor communications, reporting, major gift notifications, portfolio management support, and analytics that strengthen development strategy. The position requires strong attention to detail, high discretion with confidential information, proficiency in donor database systems (especially Raiser’s Edge), and strong coordination skills across multiple fundraising programs.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic teaching, Catholic social teaching, and the mission and values of the Archdiocese of Seattle.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in fundraising operations, development services, database analytics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Raiser’s Edge and experience with donor database management.
  • Experience supporting development teams through reporting, analytics, gift processing, and acknowledgment systems.
  • Understanding of fundraising ethics, donor confidentiality, and best practices in donor-centered philanthropy.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
