About The Position

The Diversion Hub is a comprehensive, one-stop network dedicated to assisting justice-involved individuals in Oklahoma City by harnessing the power of multiple support agencies through combined and synchronized services. Our goal is to provide life-stabilizing resources while empowering individuals to reduce their encounters with the criminal legal system through enhanced support services, including case management, data integration, and coordinated communication under one roof. The Diversion Hub Development Coordinator will provide administrative support for development activities in coordination with the Director of Development.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3+ years of experience or relevant education in development, fundraising, grant administration, or other related fields.
  • Clearance of background
  • Must have own transportation to work site, valid driver's license, and insurance on motor vehicle in accordance with state law and agency requirements.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed to support the efficient functioning of the office.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Capable of tracking and meeting multiple simultaneous deadlines.
  • Interest in learning about a variety of fields including fundraising, marketing, grants, and criminal justice.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit over long periods of time and be able to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl climb stairs, lift and or move items of up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must have excellent command of English language and grammar, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to manually operate and use a computer.
  • Must be able to clearly hear and understand telephone conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for fundraising, grants, or other funding streams to continue diversifying and expanding Diversion Hub’s revenue.
  • Maintain a donor tracking system to improve communication and engagement strategies.
  • Assist with writing grants, including conducting research, obtaining internal data, drafting templates or grant documents, revising, or otherwise supporting successful applications for funding.
  • Track application deadlines, reporting schedules, and renewal opportunities.
  • Solicit in-kind donations from corporate and other donors to support events and campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot issues with grant projects through collaboration with grant-funded staff, supervisors, and subrecipients in coordination with the Director of Development.
  • Grow Diversion Hub’s subscriber and funder email and physical mailing lists.
  • Assist with planning donor cultivation events and fundraisers.
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with subrecipients and donors.
  • Assist leadership with preparing for and welcoming current and potential donors and community leaders, including assembling welcome materials, arranging spaces, and other activities.
  • Oversee the collection and vetting of subrecipient grant invoices; communicate with subrecipients to complete invoices and assist with annual subrecipient monitoring.
  • Compile internal invoices for grant expenses.
  • Maintain updated documentation of personnel and funding changes and other records.
  • Assist with progress reporting requirements and meeting deadlines to fulfill grantor requests for information.
  • Develop working understanding of compliance requirements in 2 CFR Part 200 and grantor specific guidelines for fund use.
  • Regularly assess the progress of grant expenditures and activities to stay on track and recommend corrections as needed.
  • Assist as needed with finance operations related to grants.
  • Propose alterations to development operations as needed to maximize efficient use of funds, avoid audit issues, and otherwise effectively steward finances while fulfilling Diversion Hub’s mission.
  • Provide travel support to Diversion Hub staff in compliance with funder regulations.
  • Oversee website quality control and development.
  • Conduct social media activities, including regularly posting and contributing to planning social media campaigns.
  • Assist with managing Diversion Hub’s merchandise stock and merchandise-related fundraising.
  • Create engaging graphics for campaigns and other public-facing materials.
  • Identify and help to develop digital engagement strategies and campaigns to increase fundraising and awareness of Diversion Hub.
