About The Position

Affinity FCU is looking for an experienced, talented professional to join our Software Engineering team in the role of Developer. The Developer, Integrations & Data will assist and mentor on projects and initiatives. Successful candidate will assist sub-teams to build code that adheres to department standards and help the technical lead to identify inefficiencies that can be solved by future system enhancements. The Developer must possess strong communication skills and will assist in developing the team members to be highly effective and efficient. Successful candidate must be proficient with the use of work management tools like Atlassian Jira/Confluence and understand the importance of their use. This role requires a candidate to have performed technical training on an assortment of Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, .NET Framework and Core and C#. Successful candidate must have knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and can assist in vendor management, change management procedures, systems analysis, systems development, and software quality assurance. This role will also include contributing to team mentoring, architectural design, and department coding standards. The starting salary range for a new hire in this position is $115k to $120k. The wage/salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several qualifying factors, including but not limited to: years of relevant experience, years of industry experience, education, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering is required.
  • At least 6 years’ progressive experience systems analysis, design, development, delivery, and testing is required.
  • Proficiency with at least one object-oriented language (Java, C#, etc.), but experience in .NET and .NET Core preferred.
  • Proficiency with at least one ANSI-SQL relational database (ex: MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is required.
  • Experience with data integrations to and from other systems including bulk loading, call outs, REST/SOAP API.
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with using CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, setting up Git repositories, pipelines, and releases.
  • Proficiency with branching strategies and deployment best practices.
  • Able to work in an agile as well as waterfall environment where applicable.
  • Proven experience in translating business level requirements into solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translating those into technology and operational requirements.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, professional, and confident team player with a strong focus on customer success who can present effectively even under adverse conditions.
  • Experience with data analysis and manipulation tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email and electronic calendar (Outlook), Zoom.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar flowcharting application.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Integrations such as Data Factory are preferred
  • Proficiency in front end scripting technologies like Blazor or Angular preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce helpful.
