About The Position

Rockline Industries is growing, and we’re looking for a Developer II to help design, build, and continuously improve the technical solutions that support our business. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys translating business needs into efficient, scalable technical solutions and wants to make a real impact in a manufacturing and consumer packaged goods environment. As a Developer II, you’ll serve as a technical expert for assigned applications, partnering closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle — from design and coding to testing, validation, and support — while helping Rockline adopt new technologies that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science required; Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 2+ years of relevant functional development experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of development experience
  • Experience with: Systems Analysis and Data Modeling JD Edwards development toolset System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Software validation DB2 databases, SQL, and .NET
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML payloads
  • Ability to consume APIs using existing libraries or integration tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Copilot AI, Copilot AI Agents, and Power Automate
  • Demonstrated ability to code small to complex programs
  • Strong analytical, communication, and self-management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to other AI agents or automation tools
  • Business knowledge across areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, finance, sales, quality, or logistics is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, validate, and support small to medium-sized application programs
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend effective technical solutions
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and business partners to support system design, workflow, and reporting needs
  • Conduct troubleshooting and provide on-call support as needed
  • Create documentation and support “train-the-trainer” efforts
  • Participate in internal and external user groups and conduct user meetings
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business processes
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve
