About The Position

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Interviews and coordinates with the Courts to approve or deny alternative sentencing. Keeps all data entry up-to-date for monitoring DWI misdemeanor and court compliance. Explains in details all the rules and regulations as outlined in the Judgment and Sentence to the offenders, probationer and their families. Collects, handles and reads drug screens. Provides good time forms to courts in a timely manner. Understands proper procedures for reclassifying individuals who have violated the program. Submits appropriate documentation to request bench warrant for failure of probationer to comply with terms of their Judgment and Sentence. May perform a wide range of detention duties to ensure proper booking, incarceration and safety of persons committed to the Detention Center including those on alternative sentencing. Will be a backup for the Court Compliance Manager for: Scheduling hook-up appointments for JEHD Setting up and meeting with the offenders and reviewing their behavior Supervising and monitoring behavior of offenders on Jail Electronic Home Detention, as well as probationers on the compliance monitoring program. Coordinates and cooperates with law enforcement agencies and judiciary agencies as necessary. Employee must perform all duties with minimal supervision. Employee will be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned, including being called out to check on offenders during off hours...
