About The Position

U-Haul is seeking Detail Specialists to clean and detail the newest trucks and trailer fleet, ensuring equipment remains in top condition for customers. This role serves as an entry point for a career at U-Haul, offering opportunities for on-the-job learning and advancement to other positions within the company. Working in detail bays, team members contribute to maintaining the industry's largest fleet. The position also includes growth through the Technician Training Program, with classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. U-Haul provides necessary tools and fosters a family atmosphere with long-time team members. The company operates on a “Hire Fast Pay Fast” policy, allowing immediate payment after a paid hands-on working interview, and offers a $100 Hiring Bonus. Detailers will utilize U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology to care for field vehicles, supported by tools and resources for success and career growth.

Requirements

• Driver’s license
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Clean and buff trucks and trailers
• Handle damaged equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for sale
• Use industry standard safety equipment
• Work in a production line
• Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor
