About The Position

The Detail Planning organization is currently looking for motivated candidates to support work instruction development and change maintenance for the COLUMBIA Class Program. In this role, you will create and maintain work instructions in support of manufacturing, assembly, installation for the Electrical Discipline. This position will involve developing and maintaining work instructions in the Teamcenter IPDE toolset through collaboration with peers in Design, Engineering, and Operations. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of new processes, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will interface frequently with many different organizations across the company while professionally representing Planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of Planning, Design/Engineering or Operations Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Electrical System Diagrams
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite
Computer skills
Organization skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Teamcenter or experience using COLUMBIA planning work paper
Experience with PCM/EWP
Experience with the IPDE toolset
Past experience in warehousing, transportation, planning, or equivalent
Experience with product structuring
Experience with NGP
