About The Position

Works under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager to assist City of
Memphis staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of
desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software complying with the given
standards and guidelines. Ensures desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with
various systems. Repairs hardware and network connectivity issues when
necessary. Updates computer operating systems and other important software as
needed. Updates and maintains the computer inventory and equipment. Coordinates
with vendors to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and
software. Travels to various locations to provide critical user's support.
