About The Position

Provide on‑site deskside support for Windows 10/11 environments. This role will initially shadow existing support staff and transition into a steady‑state deskside support position. The technician will support an expanded office environment with growing headcount and technology needs.

Requirements

  • Corporate or enterprise IT support experience
  • Strong customer-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying PCs
  • Hands-on hardware break/fix and software installation experience
  • Basic network troubleshooting (wired, wireless, VPN, network adapters)
  • Windows 10/11 operating system support experience
  • Microsoft Office support (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using IT service desk/ticketing systems
  • Mobile device support experience (iOS and Android)

  • Customer service is critical for this role. End users will have varying levels of technical knowledge, requiring strong patience, professionalism, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly and respectfully.

Responsibilities

  • Provide break/fix support for workstation hardware and Windows 10/11 software
  • Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change)
  • Image and reimage systems in support of break/fix and deployment needs
  • Asset recovery, tagging, tracking, and disposal per established procedures
  • Install user‑approved software outside the standard image when required
  • Provide printer and peripheral support
  • Staff and support a client-facing tech bar or walk‑up support center
  • Update and manage tickets within the IT service management system
  • Direct users to mobile device return drop boxes
  • Package mobile devices and prepare shipments to disposal vendors
  • Deliver general deskside support to maintain workstation operations and user satisfaction
  • Follow established deskside support methodologies, processes, and procedures
