About The Position

The Desk Side Technician will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of IT equipment, as well as providing excellent customer service. 8am- 4:30PM M-F

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems and applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
  • Assist with network connectivity issues and ensure proper network configurations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems.
  • Document and track issues using a ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT-related topics.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
