Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Desktop Support Technician located in Salt Lake City. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for installing and helping desktop/laptop hardware and software, computers peripherals, office printers and maintain PC assets. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments, including OS imaging and system maintenance
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory (GPOs), WSUS, Windows patching cycles, ServiceNow, and other desktop support tools
  • Solid break/fix and troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting printers (Zebra, Xerox), including drivers, IPs, and print servers
  • Foundational networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills (IP vs DHCP, wired vs wireless, VPN, DNS); exposure to MDF/IDF and switches is a plus
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Experience with asset and lifecycle management, spare equipment inventory practices; cloud awareness (cloud vs on‑prem) and relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Attend production line incidents
  • Maintain AD GPOs
  • Maintain knowledge bases and document root causes
  • Interact with local networking and corporate licensing, security, firewall, teams to keep the factory up to Flex standards
  • Plan monthly patching activities
  • Procure hardware and software
  • Collaborate with different departments on continuous improvements
  • Propose solutions to recurrent issues
