About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support to our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting users, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, flexible, and comfortable supporting both onsite and remote users.

Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma
  • Strong background in technology
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and patient communication style
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems
  • Basic cybersecurity awareness
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
  • Manage user accounts (password resets, permissions, onboarding/offboarding)
  • Assist with email, VPN, and remote access support
  • Document technical issues and resolutions
  • Support system updates, backups, and security protocols
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary
  • Maintain IT inventory and equipment tracking
