About The Position

The Desktop Support Engineer role is crucial in managing daily operations and delivering comprehensive technical support. This position involves identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues. We seek a reliable individual who can effectively analyze and manage non-standard situations. This role requires onsite presence five days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field; or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in supporting mixed computing environments across Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, networking, and server technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise ITSM ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency in audio/visual technology setup, troubleshooting, and support for conference rooms and presentation spaces.
  • Experience with installation, cabling, and maintenance of office technology equipment.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills suitable for executive-level interactions.
  • Calm demeanor and methodical approach when managing high-pressure or sensitive support situations and act with discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional technical support to both remote and on-site channels.
  • Offer flexible coverage across standard and extended business hours.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and special events as needed.
  • Manage audio/visual setup and troubleshooting for presentations and video conferencing.
  • Conduct proactive maintenance and monitoring of technology systems, including daily equipment checks, meeting preparation, and system health reviews.
  • Maintain and repair executive hardware, including computers, printers, mobile devices, and A/V equipment.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
  • Follow established ITSM/ITIL processes and maintain accurate documentation of all support activities.
  • Manage and prioritize support inventory to ensure technology needs are anticipated and met.
