Requirements

  • Associates in related field and 3 or more years’ relevant IT experience or 5 or more years’ relevant IT experience.
  • Firewall experience.
  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with installation of Microsoft Windows Server in Host and Compute Environments, and Windows Server using server images.
  • Experience with implementation of storage solutions, high availability, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions, core and distributed network solutions, advance network infrastructure, and maintain and monitor server environments.
  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with managing Microsoft users and permissions, creating active directory domain services (AD DS) forests, designing server infrastructure, troubleshooting, protecting network, and user data.
  • Network+ or CCNA certification
  • ITIL Foundation V5 certification (candidate has up to 60 days to acquire ITIL Foundation certification)
  • Must hold an active DoD Secret level clearance or higher

Responsibilities

  • Provide design, implementation and support for desktop\client systems including thick, thin, virtual, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Develop and maintain all desktop/client system images for Partner networks to include remote access and Communication Fly-Away Kits clients.
  • Monitor and analyze a wide array of desktop\client performance metrics to recognize substandard performance.
  • Troubleshoot and develop viable options to resolve substandard performance anomalies both remotely and locally.
  • Use technical writing skills to develop and maintain system concept of operations (CONOPS), engineering plans, TTPs, and user guides for Desktop/Client Systems.
  • Research alternative and emerging Desktop/Client System technologies to address customer requirements and ensure recommendations are interoperable with existing Enterprise solutions.
  • Multitask across multiple complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis for collaboration of network/system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project-based timeline.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO) for all new customer implementations.
  • Provide General IT Management support.
  • Provide General Networking support.
  • Provide LAN support.
  • Provide WAN Enterprise support.
  • Provide technical and general O&M support as required.
  • Provide documentation/reports support as required.
  • Provide meetings/briefings support as required.
  • Provide functional training support as required.
  • Provide OCONUS deployment/TDY travel support as required.
  • Provide CONUS TDY support as required.
