Desktop Support Analyst Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on and remote technical support for end-user computers, including Windows and macOS-based PCs and laptops. Manage and maintain the configuration, imaging, and deployment of all end-user computing devices. Perform Tier 2 escalation resolution from the IT Service Desk, ensuring prompt and high-quality solutions for complex technical issues. Administer and manage client-side security and patching, including Antivirus (e.g., Defender for Endpoint) and Windows Patch Management across all end-user computers. Manage and troubleshoot mobile and wireless devices, application software, and network printers. Execute tasks related to computer replacements, data recovery, and delivery of various IT-related projects. Create and maintain technical instructional documentation for the corporate IT knowledge base. Participate in process improvement initiatives and adhere to all departmental standards while providing courteous and knowledgeable assistance to end-users.   • Manage and maintain the configuration, imaging, and deployment of all end-user computing devices.
  • Perform Tier 2 escalation resolution from the IT Service Desk, ensuring prompt and high-quality solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Administer and manage client-side security and patching, including Antivirus (e.g., Defender for Endpoint) and Windows Patch Management across all end-user computers.
  • Manage and troubleshoot mobile and wireless devices, application software, and network printers.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Windows 10 & 11 in an Active Directory environment.
  • Experience supporting macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with mobile device support (smart phones and tablets).
  • Solid understanding of PC imaging concepts, including build, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL Foundations principles.
  • Proven ability to quickly research unfamiliar technical problems and document solutions.
  • 2+ years of dedicated technical work experience supporting desktop technologies in a professional environment.
  • Minimum: Vocational / Technical education or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure AD and Intune for endpoint management, including maintaining Intune Policies and security groups.
  • Experience configuring, managing, monitoring, and remediating network printers.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Defender for Endpoint or a similar enterprise antivirus product.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications (A Plus): A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
