As a Contract Desktop Phone Deployment Technician at TMG Global, you will play an essential role in the Cisco VoIP phone deployment process. Your day-to-day tasks will involve unboxing, inspecting, and validating Cisco office phones to ensure they meet quality and order specifications. You will connect phones to secure networks and assist with initial configuration and provisioning, working closely with third-party vendors to complete the Cisco phone setup and ensure full functionality. After configuring the devices, you will carefully rebox the phones with all necessary accessories, label them for tracking, and diligently update inventory records. Additionally, you will prepare and organize shipments of Cisco phones to designated locations, ensuring they reach their destination in a timely and secure manner. This hands-on role is perfect for you if you're passionate about unified communications and enjoy a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g.CompTIA Cisco CCENT/CCNA) are a plus
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in deploying installing or supporting Cisco IP phones or similar VoIP systems
  • Experience with Cisco IP phone installation configuration or deployment preferred
  • Familiarity with VoIP systems basic networking and device provisioning
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced hands-on environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for installation and shipping
