Requirements

  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of desktop or technical support experience
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common software platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Familiarity with Epic EHR and HIPAA requirements
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and peripheral devices
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently and professionally
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software
  • Support user access, password resets, software installs, and routine IT needs
  • Perform system updates, patches, and equipment upgrades
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with network and systems teams on escalated issues and IT projects
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data security standards, and IT policies
