About The Position

MVE + Partners designs influential and award-winning projects throughout the world. Our practice is diverse with an eclectic portfolio of successful architecture, planning, and interior design assignments. Our team comprises a talented group of individuals, equally entranced by art, fashion, technology, business, education, sports, food, and above all – design. Role Overview We are seeking a Designer to join our architecture studio. This role supports project teams in design development, presentation drawings, and documentation using Revit, SketchUp, and graphic software. You will collaborate with Principals, Senior Designers, and project teams across all project phases.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional architecture office
  • Multi-family and mixed-use architecture experience
  • Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD
  • Broad experience across various project types and phases
  • Interest in expanding knowledge of design trends

Responsibilities

  • Generate and organize design ideas using CAD (Revit, SketchUp) and graphic software
  • Produce designs, working drawings, schedules, details, and presentation materials
  • Assist with project goals, plan layout, materials, and color selections
  • Revise and modify documents based on red lines and mark-ups
  • Coordinate with outside parties and integrate information into project documents
  • Assemble and coordinate drawings into cohesive schematic document sets
  • Prepare design documents for submission to owners, contractors, and AHJ
  • Research zoning codes, building codes, and environmental regulations
  • Gain knowledge of entitlement processes and local design guidelines
  • Assist with site visits, as-builts, and code research as needed
