At Ivy Computer, we’re looking for a Designer Product Architect who can identify the invisible friction points in different blue-collar industries and translate them into intuitive, scalable software. This role blends thoughtful design, product vision, and clear communication. You’ll collaborate with developers, senior leadership, and fellow designers to shape the future of our products from conception to implementation. Requirements

  • Experience in software design, product architecture or technical product management
  • Experience applying software solutions to the challenges found in blue-collar industries
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
  • Comfort collaborating with developers across a range of experience levels
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring, and collaborative design
  • Most importantly, you must work and play well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze workflows, interview stakeholders, and clearly document user and business needs
  • Identify inefficiencies and translate them into clear product ideas
  • Break complex challenges into clear, solvable components
  • Define product guidelines, prioritize work, and support road mapping.
  • Create clear functional specs and user stories tailored to developer experience
  • Serve as a bridge between engineering, design, and leadership
  • Turn customer pain points into actionable product requirements
  • Support organized development and release processes that contribute to company profitability
