You will be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team with one shared goal: “Get quality and secure solutions in the customers’ hands as soon as possible.” Sabel Systems is seeking a Product Architect to drive the enterprise architecture of Sabel platforms, products and offerings through a team of architects. The Product Architect will develop the architectural governance process, technical architecture, design patterns, and technical and cyber integrity across the product portfolio. This role will partner with Cabel’s Center of Excellence to insure proper servicing of products, administration of product environments, and cyber security. This role ensures products are relevant, scalable, secure, compliant, and reusable across programs and customers.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years architecture experience
- Experience in regulated environments
- Strong analytical and architectural reasoning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple products.
- Adequate home working environment to include dedicated office-space to enable productive remote work
Nice To Haves
- DoD or aerospace experience.
- Cloud-native architecture experience.
- Systems Architecture or similar training.
Responsibilities
- Innovate and Disrupt Architect and design novel and market viable digital engineering platforms
- Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage
- Architect and design solutions that minimize time to market and meet revenue targets
- Define and maintain reference architectures for Sabel Products and Offerings
- Establish design patterns, technology standards, and integration approaches
- Ensure alignment with Sabel’s market strategy and technical stack
- Partner with Product Managers to align architecture with product roadmaps
- Plan architectural evolution to avoid technical debt and enable reuse
- Ensure architectures meet cybersecurity, compliance, and hosting requirements
- Participate in architecture reviews and Configuration Control Boards
- Maintain authoritative architectural artifacts under configuration control
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
- Support design reviews, trade studies, and technology selection
- Support and enable product positioning in Sabel Business Units and markets
- Lead and conduct product demonstrations to enable sales
- Contribute to technical proposals and pitches to enable growth and sales
