About The Position

The Hunter Douglas Retail Lead Network (RLN) is the premier in-home design and installation service for major retailers and brands in North America, specializing in custom-made window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery. Our professional design and installation team provides customers with expert guidance, premium products, professional installation, and exceptional customer service across the United States and Canada.

We are seeking experienced Window Treatment Designers (Independent Contractors) to join our vast network of Designers throughout the United States. In this role, you will work directly with clients to design and sell custom interior blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, and outdoor roller shades.

Requirements

• Sales Artistry: Proven experience in closing, powered by sharp active listening and persuasive communication.
• Design Authority: The confidence to curate and recommend window treatments that bridge the gap between a client’s aesthetic dreams and functional needs.
• Product Expertise: A drive to master the industry-leading Hunter Douglas product line (we provide all the resources to get you there).
• Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods in diverse home and retail settings.
• Ability to carry up to 15 lbs. of curated sample materials.
