The position is part of a team that is responsible for response to plant issues through cross-functional troubleshooting and the development, review, and implementation of any design modifications that result from that process. Duties include engagement in the fleet troubleshooting process, the development of design change documentation, and assessing configuration changes for impacts to design and licensing requirements and other documentation. Depending on complexity, the incumbent may lead troubleshooting and the preparation of design change documents. The incumbent will also be required to perform field walkdowns in an industrial environment to support troubleshooting, design constructability, and interface with craft personnel for resolution of possible field installation issues. The type of documentation involved includes single line, diagrams, elementary, logic, wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, general arrangement drawings, instrument indexes, setpoint diagrams, tubing isometrics, cable and component data bases, vendor drawings, manuals, piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping isometrics, structural support details, equipment layout, and foundation. To accomplish this task, the incumbent will work closely with engineers and other design peers. The position will be filled at an exempt level commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.
