About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Designer/Drafter. The Designer/Drafter role is responsible for creating customer assembly drawings, which could include developing 3D models. This role requires communication with many different functions. The Designer/Drafter will be responsible to accurately perform job-related tasks to complete full 3D assembly models.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in drafting/design with mechanical design experience using CAD software or an equivalent three years’ experience
• Mechanical aptitude and visualization skills
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and regard for quality
• Skill using Microsoft Office applications is required, especially Microsoft Excel
• Fundamental understanding and ability to apply ANSI Y14 Dimensioning standards
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical design experience or coursework
• File management software experience (PLM application)
• Experience with data management applications such as PDM
• Experience using SolidWorks software
