About The Position

For as large of a sector as it is (17.3% of US GDP), healthcare has some of the ugliest design we’ve ever seen. It makes sense… high regulation, little incentive… but what if it didn’t have to be that way? Part of our company mission to bring healthcare into the information age means completely redefining the design standards for all the healthtech companies that follow. We pride ourselves on putting out genuinely category-setting creative work — just check out our ad campaign Faxing Isn’t the Problem . This is a highly autonomous role with real influence. We have the foundations of our visual identity, but there’s significant room for it to grow & expand. Our founder-led buy-in for unique brand moments means that your work won’t be limited to just social assets — past projects have included an installation for the media wall at Lincoln Center, custom-fabricated wood-and-steel trophies, and a visual identity for a Circus-themed event. We’re looking for a brand designer with strong technical instincts—someone who thinks in systems, cares deeply about craft, and is comfortable using code as part of their design toolkit. You’ll own and evolve Tennr’s brand identity while also playing a hands-on role in designing our website and digital brand surfaces.
