The Design Studio Manager II is a second-level managerial position. Ensures the effective operation of the design studio. Enables growth and development of the team and instigates a culture of creative confidence. Oversees day-to-day tasks, duties and responsibilities, workloads, and directly addresses personnel issues. Direct supervisor for Design Leads. Sets and implements the studio’s strategic goals, initiatives, and policies. Shares the responsibility for the performance of the team and individuals within. Healthcare Focus: Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and market trends and influences Understands healthcare market requirements for project governance and codes Compliance, products, textiles, infection control, procurement, and medical equipment Skilled at leading engagements for a variety of project types: Acute Care, Ambulatory, Administrative, Lab, Retail, Behavioral Health, Senior Living Understands the complexities of managing multi-year major projects for healthcare, and how to plan, staff, and manage workload and fee-based services.
