Job Function: Career Programs Job Sub Function: Non-LDP Intern/Co-Op Job Category: Career Program All Job Posting Locations: Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America Job Description: Job Requirements: Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Contribute to identifying top customer (surgeons, sales reps, nurses, etc.) issues and potential to support initial development work of engineering proposals Support new product development and sustaining (life cycle management) engineering projects and initiatives for surgical robotics Support quality engineering activities such as design reviews, verification and validation test protocols and reports, root cause analysis, etc. Data analysis and contribute to memo's/reports with findings to influence engineering development work Be a part of a cross functional team to support development of surgical robotics in orthopedics Contribute to engineering projects through analyzing large data sets, log files, and or CT images Learn about: regulated engineering development ISO 14971/13485, orthopedics, surgical environments Communicate findings and learnings to engineering teams

Requirements

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree
  • The ability to apply appropriate Quality tools/systems/processes to meet department goals and objectives is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner across functional areas is required.
  • Data analysis (excel, python, r, matlab, etc.)
  • Communication
  • Technical writing
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Responsibilities
