About The Position

Design of capacitor stack rack equipment solutions to satisfy customer specific applications. Designs to comply with IEEE and/or IEC standards as well as customer specifications. Solutions may include integration with switches, reactors, arresters, PTs, and CTs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering in an accredited university
  • Proficiency with Solid Modeling software

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Good mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Review customer specifications and create proposed solutions including cost estimates and proposal drawings.
  • Interact with the customer and marketing to resolve questions and issues related to generating a proposed solution.
  • Process requisitions, create drawings, and bill of materials for manufacturing.
  • Submit final drawings and instruction books to the customer.
  • Work with production control to co-ordinate order priority, new and/or special items, and identify long lead items.
  • Work with the manufacturing to resolve manufacturing, quality, and process issues.
  • Participate on business productivity teams.
  • Work with marketing and quality teams on customer issue resolution.

  • For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
