This role is 100% on-site, encouraging interns to collaborate and connect in person five days a week. HQ offers an inviting atmosphere, complete with an on-site café, fitness center, and Flagship store. The role of the Design Intern is an integral member of the Creative Services team adding value through assisting with the execution of daily tasks and projects in creative workflows. This includes but is not limited to producing graphics and creative assets to fulfill needs across brand, sport, and lifestyle programs. Administrative/clerical work, file management, and maintenance of shared spaces may also be required from time to time.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of print and digital outputs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to adhere to pre-defined conventions, processes, and workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who adapts to change with urgency and persistence
  • Comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional team environment as well as working independently
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating the skills associated with this position is required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI is a plus
  • Appreciation or interest in sports/lifestyle apparel is a plus
  • Previous internship experience or interest in Marketing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Learn about and participate in creative development processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with designers on execution of creative assets across various brand, sport, and lifestyle programs
  • Produce high-quality graphics and assets from existing design direction or campaign creative
  • Execute account-specific deliverables based on supplied specifications for several types of exports including digital banners, email graphics, social posts, print ads, retail displays, and event activation signage
  • Translate project brief direction and needs into visually engaging and effective design assets
  • Maintain design server and file-share site
  • Research inspiration for creative imagery relative to brand direction
  • Serve as a creative partner and sounding board helping design team refine ideas and bring shared vision to life
  • Follow a workflow consistent with best practices and timeliness defined by the Creative Services team
  • Manage multiple tasks across various projects daily while meeting established deadlines
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Assist with other projects and duties as assigned
