Job Summary General Purpose: Responsible for managing a team of Engineering & Design employees to ensure that cost, quality and delivery targets are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • 9 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
  • Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas
  • Solid knowledge of injection molding.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent as a key element of executing operational business plans.
  • Provides strategic leadership for the function and the site.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree or MBA

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction to Engineering & Design teams.
  • Oversee resources budgeting, allocation, review and approval.
  • Track projects and progress through regular reviews.
  • Develop dashboards and reports, which accurately measure progress, identify potential technical problems, and implement timely corrective actions to ensure that revenue commitments are met.
  • Participate in tool design and feasibility technical reviews.
  • Aid and guide in the development of product designs from proposal to delivery.
  • Provide technical support to customer and Sales team.
  • Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
  • Provide technical direction through mold debug.
