The company is looking for a Design Engineer to join their engineering team. This role requires a good understanding of engineering design techniques and will involve creating 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, and collaborating with customer cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.
Proficiency in CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, or ProE.
Understanding use of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) tools.
Proficient knowledge of GD&T tolerancing and implementation.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.
Produce detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.
Perform basic stress and thermal analysis on designs or coordinate with Stress team.
Participate in the testing and evaluation of prototypes or coordinate with Testing team
Ensure designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Stay current with new technologies and design methods.
