About The Position

Bill Alexander Ford Lincoln is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in automotive design, preferably with a dealership or manufacturer
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new vehicle products, including exterior and interior components, using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and timeline requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design proposals to determine the best solutions for production
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for production
• Perform testing and analysis to validate design performance and make necessary adjustments
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive design technology
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to other departments as needed
