About The Position

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Design Engineer for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, GA. This position will be responsible for designing, prototyping, testing, and supporting product in air moving applications. You will ensure projects are seen through to delivery, including analysis, estimating, implementation, and documentation and develop and recommend product design changes to increase efficiency

Requirements

• B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
• Strong computer-based skills and proficiency with 3d CAD and MS Office applications
• Understanding of design for manufacturability concepts
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
• Technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish, manage and communicate project deliverables
• Understand and comply with safety standard requirements
• Initiate and lead design FMEAs, design reviews, and preproduction builds with multi-discipline development team
• Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals
• Support the collection and evaluation of product costs
• Support the production of new and existing fan and blower coil products
• Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions
