Price Industries Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Suwanee, GA. Requirements
- B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
- Strong computer-based skills and proficiency with 3d CAD and MS Office applications
- Understanding of design for manufacturability concepts
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
- Technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry a plus
Responsibilities
- Establish, manage and communicate project deliverables
- Understand and comply with safety standard requirements
- Initiate and lead design FMEAs, design reviews, and preproduction builds with multi-discipline development team
- Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals
- Support the collection and evaluation of product costs
- Support the production of new and existing fan and blower coil products
- Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions
