The Design Engineering Intern will assist the Design Engineering team and will be responsible for generating engineering drawings and 3D models. As time allows, special design works, hands-on prototype assembly, documentation, and other engineering tasks will be allocated. We have part-time ( 15+ hours per week) available in Spring 2026 and Full-Time (40 hours per week) available Summer 2026. During the Spring and Fall we will work around your class schedule.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to handle 3d modeling software (ex. SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Revit, etc) and to read/generate manufacturing drawings.
• A basic understanding of manufacturing processes is required.
• Ability to use computers and MS Office software (Word and Excel).
• Must be able to read, speak and write English fluently.
• Ability to understand instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be currently enrolled student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Technologist, or working towards a related degree and/or certifications.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• 3-D modeling, HVAC, and sheet metal experiences are preferred, but not required.
