Job Description: The Intern - Engineer (Design) will be responsible for neural network modeling for analog compute-in-memory (ACIM) solutions, including modeling the variation and mismatch of various ACIM components. Additional responsibilities include modeling the power, performance, and area (PPA) of ACIM solutions and providing assistance with hardware architecture development for ACIM. The role also involves interfacing and coordinating with engineers across design, technology, process, and testing departments to support the advancement of ACIM technology.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD candidate, degree in progress in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science (EECS).
  • Experience/knowledge in neural networks (MLP, GRU, CNN, sLLM, etc)
  • Experience/knowledge in neural network modelling for compute-in-memory
  • Experience in CAD tools ( HSPICE/HSIM, Verilog, Cadence Design Entry, etc) ) for design flow
  • Knowledge of languages (Python, Tcl, C++/SystemC, etc.) a plus
  • Semiconductor device physics knowledge preferred
