About The Position
A Design Engineer Intern at Reading Truck works under the direction of the Engineering Department in support of sustaining and new product development activities. What you will do: DVP&R testing Document and reverse engineer competitor service bodies Engineering change notification Create and update standard work documents Create engineering 3D models and drawings
Requirements
- Be a full-time student in a 4-year college program in aligned Major: Mechanical Engineering
- Junior year completed- preferred
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- SolidWorks experience
- Sheet metal forming understanding and experience
- Adhere to all company policies
- Attend orientation and check-in meetings
- Final presentation — prepare and present to company management
