About The Position

Join ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Design Engineer I in Electric Distribution—designing and improving power systems while contributing to the growth of utilities Location: Orlando, FL What You’ll Do: Applies technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specifications. Communicates challenges regarding scope, cost, schedule and quality. Works with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages. Gains an understanding of CAD programs and the software analysis tools utilized in engineering design. Supports the preparation of simple designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings. Leads the development of their discipline's design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses. Interacts with clients on a limited basis. Understands and applies appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations. Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic. Identifies information to be communicated to the client and project stakeholders through team leads and project managers. Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews. Performs all other related duties, including fielding work, as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering at ABET accredited university
• Minimum 0-1 of electrical distribution design experience.
• Ability to travel 25% for fielding expectations

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the software BOUD or Maximo
• Client Facing Experience
