About The Position

The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is currently seeking a Design Engineer (GI) to join our Area-wide Green Infrastructure (GI) | Cloudburst Management. The successful candidates will report an Engineer-In-Charge and will engage in engineering investigations; oversee consultant contracts for design and construction management services; review and develop drawings, specifications, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for Green Infrastructure, Cloudburst Management, and other Infrastructure design projects. The Design Engineers will also participate in field surveys of existing conditions; prepare reports; engage in engineering reviews and studies; and develop designs with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in civil engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work; or
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a Master's degree from an accredited college in civil engineering.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position.
