About The Position
The Electric Engineering department, comprising approximately 2,000 coworkers, is responsible for all aspects of electric engineering, including standards, process safety, design, instrumentation testing, controls, undergrounding, regulatory compliance, and investment planning. This ensures a safe, strategic, and stable workplan for Electric Operations partners. The organization handles program planning, financial budgeting, and project execution and delivery for all electric engineering projects. The Design Drafter performs general drafting or mapping work of a moderately difficult nature, often requiring data search and information coordination. This role frequently involves working from design studies, sketches, computations, or other moderately complex data prepared by a higher-classified employee. The position may also require computing work with a limited knowledge of engineering formulas. This is an ESC represented exempt classification subject to collective bargaining.
Requirements
- Not less than one year of college in the appropriate engineering field or high school graduation with the equivalent experience or training in drafting.
- Experience in drafting

Responsibilities

- Does simple engineering computing work under supervision.
